Released in 1968, ‘Miles in the Sky’ is Jazz fushion/ Jazz rock record. Recording for the album began in December 1967 with Davis experimenting in the studio and leaving much of the editing to his producer Teo Macero. The album was praised by critics and was labelled one of Davis’ best albums by Down Beat magazine.
